Selfie Smile

Show the world your smile.

The Selfie Smile is the most popular smile in the world right now.

From Hollywood stars to grandma, everyone is taking a ‘selfie”. For some people it’s the only photo they take anymore. Selfies are everywhere, at the park, restaurant, concert, or tourist attractions; you are almost guaranteed to see someone taking a selfie.

So, what’s the importance of the Selfie Smile? Some people think it all has to do with being vain. Well, there is actually a lot more to it than that. The world is different now because of technology and the smartphone. We’re all connected using social media, where you’re expected to share your Selfie. This is how people many people (mostly those who are younger) communicate now and it is a primary tool for showing who you are. Online dating sites are an obvious example of a place where a great Selfie is essential.

Taking a Selfie is simple, fast, and affordable. It quickly shows family and friends your trip around the world or just what’s for dinner. This is now the new norm.

You are now taking pictures for instant short photo albums to share and possibly for memories to look back at and enjoy later in life. You are showing all your family and friends (and sometimes the whole world) your life as you are living it.

So, basically, the Selfie Smile is a very important smile to show. Who knows who will be
looking at your picture, so you’ll want to make sure your Smileworks for you. You’re going to be using your cell phone to be taking the selfie most likely, so, before you do, use it to check your teeth and smile. Do you have smeared lipstick? Do you have a piece of lettuce in your teeth? Are your teeth yellowed from coffee or smoking? Do you want hundreds (or thousands) of people looking at your smile if it’s not up to par? Keep some toothpicks in your purse or pocket (or a toothbrush if you can). Perhaps you aren’t quite happy with the color of your teeth, or perhaps you find that food is sticking to your teeth too much. Make an appointment with your dentist to discuss your options.

They will know what to do with issues you think you may have and they can give you some different options for making sure you have a ‘Selfie Smile’ your ‘self’ can be proud of.
